Welcome to the Old School Lodge

Situated in the Heart of Snowdonia in the small mountain town of Deiniolen, near Llanberis, the Old School Lodge is the perfect base for groups of all kinds wishing to explore the rugged splendor of North Wales.
The Lodge provides high quality accommodation for those looking for a warm comfortable base to come home to after a day out on the Welsh Mountains.

The Lodge, owned and managed by Wallasey & West Wirral Scouts, offers excellent modern facilities for a wide range of users, including those with disabilities.

Open all year, except Christmas day and Boxing day, our self-catering Hostel can accommodate up to 38 people in comfortable en-suite rooms. 

Our friendly Warden, who lives in separate accommodation on the site, will offer you a warm welcome and be available to offer assistance and advice throughout your stay.
