The Old School Lodge is surrounded by one of the major walking areas in the country. There are a wide range of excellent walking routes available ranging from full day exhilarating mountain walks, including Snowdon itself, to short low-level and valley route rambles. All levels of expertise is catered for in the immediate locality.
For those experienced and / or qualified in mountain walking all you need is a good OS Map and suitable mountain equipment – remember the weather changes very rapidly in the mountains.
